Quadriennal School of Specialization and Training in Art-Therapy (ART) e Autogenic Training (TA)
Graduates in Psychology, Medicine, Education, Philosophy and literary subjects (Arts and Foreign Languages and Literatures Degree), Holders of a Diploma of the Academy of fine arts and Conservatory are admitted to the School.
Candidates for admission will show a good instrumental knowledge of English language.
I year (I level Certificate: Counselling in Art-Therapy)
1. Theories and models of psychotherapeutic intervention: 70 hours;
2. ‘Depths Psychology’: 60 hours;
3. Cognitivist and Behavioral Psychoterapy: 60 hours;
4. Family and Group Psychotherapy: 70 hours;
5. Experiential Psychotherapies (Gestalt Psychotherapy and Transactional Analysis): 70 hours;
6. Psychodiagnostics: 70 hours.
Elective total hours: 400.
II year (II level Certificate: MAster in Art-Therapy)
1. Social and Group Psychology: 70 hours;
2. Age of development Psychology: 70 hours;
3. Short Psychotherapies Techniques: 70 hours;
4. Support Psychotherapies: 70 hours;
5. History of Art Therapy: 60 hours;
6. Psychopathology: 60 hours.
Elective total hours: 400.
III year (III level Certificate)
1. Theories and models of Art Therapy: 70 ore;
2. Techniques and practice of Art Therapy: 60 ore;
3. Poiesitherapy: 70 ore;
4. Iconotherapy: 70 ore;
5. Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy: 70 ore;
6. Psychology of Art and Literature: 60 ore.
Elective total hours: 400.
IV year (Final Certificate)
1. Theory and History of Art: 70 hours;
2. Theory and History of Literature: 70 hours;
3. Musicotherapy: 70 hours;
4. Relaxation Techniques and Autogenic Training: 60 hours;
5. Professional Ethics in practice of Art Therapy: 70 hours;
6. Creative Psychodrama: 60 hours.
Elective total hours: 400.
During the four years the pupil attends 800 general hours of apprenticeship and practice: in the III and IV year 200 hours are of Supervision from a Didactic Analyst.
